Baby Must-Haves

Hi baby lovers! A few weeks ago, I posted on Instagram my must-haves/wants for baby #2 but I wanted to share another list of some must-haves that we use/used with Boston and love! These products have been tried and trusted by us and I think anyone expecting a baby would love them all! There are so many baby products out there and every baby is different so you just have to find what works best for you and your baby! I linked all of the product names to websites where you can purchase them from but make sure you search for the best price before purchasing and use any coupons you can find! Most sites always have coupon codes that you can find on retailmenot.com!

Timi & Leslie Charlie Diaper Bag -I have used this bag since the day Boston was born and I love it as much today as I did 19 months ago. It has 7 pockets and is definitely large enough to hold everything you need. I swear I would fill up a duffle bag if I could but this has been the perfect size for me and I love that it has the separate pockets to keep everything in it's own spot. It's also super cute and doesn't scream diaper bag!

Boppy Newborn & Infant Lounger -We got this handed down from a friend and we are so thankful she gave it to us. Boston loved lounging in this when he was little and it was the perfect little comfy spot for me to put him down when we were in the living room. You can also use it for tummy time. This is perfect for babies that aren't rolling over yet!

Fisher-Price Newborn Auto Rock 'n Play Sleeper -Boston slept in this from the day we brought him home until he was about 9 months old. We loved this so much because it was so easy and convenient to move from room to room and to travel with! They didn't have the auto one when we had Boston but I wish they did because it would have been so nice to not have to manually rock it when he would wake up in the middle of the night!

Summer Infant Digital Monitor -This isn't the exact model we have but it's the same concept. There are a ton of different baby monitors and most will get the job done! We love ours and have never had a problem with it. It's a lifesaver when your babe starts sleeping in their crib and you're the paranoid parent that always wants to check to make sure they are okay. We still use this with Boston and I love being able to see him when he's sleeping!

Aden + Anais Classic Muslin Swaddle - Boston uses these swaddles as his security blankets and we absolutely loved them when he was a newborn. Some swaddles are small and end up coming undone from the babe wiggling but these are large and have that little bit of stretch to them so you can make sure they are snug as a bug in a rug in them! I also love that they are breathable. It always made me feel so much more at ease when he would put these right up in his face knowing that they weren't going to suffocate him. They come in all kinds of different, pretty prints and tons of different websites sell them!

Blooming Bath -This bathtub is perfect for a newborn until about 6 months. It was the perfect size for our kitchen sink and I loved how comfy it was for a new baby. It's super easy to clean too. I would just throw it in the dryer after each use or you could always hang dry it and then every week, I would wash it in the washing machine. I have also seen people use this as a newborn lounger which seems like a great idea! It also comes in yellow, pink and blue!

Munchkin Nursery Projector and Sound System -Hands down, one of the best baby products out there! My sister-in-law told me about this projector/sound system and I'm so glad she did! It is only $19 and worth every penny! It plays 6 different sounds and has 3 different images for the projector. We started using this when Boston started sleeping in his crib and he still uses it every day. Most sound machines only have sound so this is a huge bonus that it also projects images so your babe has something to look at as they fall asleep. It also has the option of being voice activated but we have rarely used that option because I'm always nervous that something will set it off and wake him up. Trust me with this one and go buy it!

Boppy Nursing Pillow -If you're planning on nursing your babe, then a nursing pillow is so convenient to have. And even if you're not nursing, this pillow is great for a bottle fed baby too! The pillow wraps around your belly and your baby lays on top of it so that you don't have to use your other arm to fully support them. It makes feeding your newborn so much more comfy and when you have a babe who loves to eat, then comfy is what you need! You can also use the pillow for your babe to lounge on and do tummy time on! You can buy the covers from tons of websites and some etsy shops make cute, customized ones! We got our cover with Boston from Pottery Barn Kids and it is so cute and soft!

4moms Breeze Playard -This is the easiest, most convenient pack-n-play there is! You are able to set it up and break it down with just one hand! Most pack-n-plays can be a pain in the butt to set up and take down but this one is literally a breeze! The only downfall we have found is that it's pretty heavy so when we take it to a hotel, my husband is the one that has to carry it. It also has the bassinet option on top for when your babe is a newbie! We had planned on using that part for when Boston was itty bitty but he loved his Rock 'n Play so much that we didn't need to use that. We now just use the bottom portion for when we go on trips!

I hope you all found this post to be super helpful in choosing products for your new baby! It is so much fun shopping for a new baby but it can also be stressful with all of the options out there! I am always available to answer any questions and please, please, please share any great finds you have!

xoxo
