26 Weeks Bumpdate
Yay for Friyay! This week flew by and I majorly slacked on getting my 26 weeks bumpdate to you all earlier. Our niece from Texas is in town so we've been spending as much time with her as we can. As you all might have seen on Instagram, we took the kiddos to Disneyland on Wednesday. It was Boston's first time there and I'd say it was a hit! He had a blast. I'm telling you, this kid is a maniac. He is ALL boy! Always wanting down to run around and climb on anything and everything! I was SO exhausted by the end of the day. I really wish it wasn't so crowded there (graduations and 60th anniversary) because there was a lot more we wanted to do but we still had a really good time!
Anyways, back to the bumpdate! This little chicky is growing everyday and I can feel it. Bryce keeps saying that it feels so much more real now that he sees this big ole belly poking out! Kollyns weighs about 1 2/3 pounds and measures 14 inches. Which is crazy to think that Boston was 19 1/2 inches at birth so she only has a few more inches to go! My feet get super sore if I'm on them too much but other than that, I've felt really good this week! I've been starting to think about what's left on my list of things to purchase and pack for her because I want to make sure I'm prepared ahead of time! I will be sure to do a post in the future on what all is in my hospital bag (once I get to packing it)!
This week I bought a nightgown from Forever 21 that buttons all the way down in the front which will be perfect for nursing once she gets here. I plan on getting a couple more nightgowns or top/short sets like that to make nursing in the middle of the night a little easier. I have a nursing tank top from Motherhood Maternity that I wore when I had Boston that I absolutely loved because it was so convenient (I ended up wearing it almost every night and had to wash it a couple times a week) so I want to make sure I have enough stuff like that this time!
