HorTEN: 10th Anniversary Party

Ten Years ago Bryce and I said “I DO”. So first things first I just want to say is it has been truly the best 10 years of my life. We knew we wanted to have an anniversary party and honestly I’m so glad we did it the way we did. We got a small group our closest friends and family together to celebrate with us. But.. in true Bryce and Krista fashion.. we made sure it was a night to remember.

Where?

We held our party at a new venue in Bakersfield called The Edwards Estates. It’s a house in North East Bakersfield with a bit of property and it is SO stinking cool. They have a really cool event building in the back that was perfect for how many guests we had. We also had a tent put up out on their grass area for the after party.

What we ate?

Well it started off with some pretty dang good appetizers!! We had pretzel bites, Tiny tacos, crab cakes, Mac and cheese balls. When we sat down we started off with cheesecake factory style bread, mini chicken pot pies, and Caesar salad. Then for dinner we had Eurka’s recipe for brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and a bacon wrapped filet with chicken!

For dessert we had mini blueberry/peach cobblers and churros. Everything was soooo good!

Of course we had our signature cocktails which included Malibu & Diet, a strawberry lemon drop, and espresso martinis!

IYKYK… and OKAYYYY I will admit I’m not the best at keeping secrets so I am so dang proud of myself for keeping this one.. but can you believe we had WALKER HAYES preforming at OUR 10 year anniversary party? Ya me either… I’m still wrapping my head around it!! Walker sang for about an hour and it was the coolest thing ever seeing our friends and family get SO excited when he walked out and sang our favorite song ‘Fancy Like’. AGAIN.. cannot believe it. After Walker we had a DJ and an LA band and they were so good too!!

Everything was beyond perfect and we really couldn’t have imagined a more perfect night!! I’ll link everyone we had out here:
