Hair did (with Bombay Hair)

Hair Extensions

Hair is not something I pride myself on. I've never had the patience for it and I'm super lazy which means it usually ends up air dried and then thrown into a messy bun the next day. That is, until I got my tape-in extensions from Bombay Hair a week ago (these are the extensions I got). I love that they carry ombre colors since my hair is a rooted balayage so these ended up matching my color the best.  I wasn't sure how I was going to like the upkeep of semi-permanent extensions (like I said, I'm the laziest person ever when it comes to hair) but surprisingly, the upkeep is so easy! I have actually been able to go longer in between washes (with the help of dry shampoo) and they really don't bother me at all. It took me about two nights to get completely used to sleeping with them but now I don't even notice a difference.

You wash them the same as your normal hair and you can still let them air dry if you like! I have only washed my hair once since having them and I ended up blow drying them (which did take a little extra time since I'm working with more hair now) but it was the exact same process as before. The process to put them in only took about 20 minutes with my stylist. My stylist swears by the tape-ins because they are super flexible so you can still style your hair or throw it up in a pony or bun! It's literally tape at the top of the extensions so pieces of your hair just go in between two pieces of tape for each extension strand. Then whenever they start growing out, you just go back in and your stylist takes them out with some oil (so that it doesn't damage your hair) and you order new tape so that you can reuse them! Such an easy process and the results are well worth it!

Curling Wand

I also got this 5-in-1 curling wand from Bombay Hair and it is seriously the coolest hair tool ever! You use one base and just snap in whichever type of barrel you want to use so that way you have options and can create that multi-dimensional curl! It's super easy to use and even comes with a glove so that you can change out the barrel even when it is still hot.

I wanted to share this post with you guys because I know I contemplated extensions for a while and I'm so glad I finally took the plunge. I had extensions about five years ago and I loved them but that was pre-kids when I had more time to do my hair and like I said (I promise last time), I'm freaking lazy when it comes to my hair! I also used clip-in extensions which I do love as well but I was ready to have thicker hair 24/7 and not have to put them in every day.

These tape-in extensions from Bombay Hair are super high quality and if you find a good stylist, you will become obsessed with them!
