Bora Bora Vacation!!

Being able to go to Bora Bora doesn’t feel real. We save all our business AMX points for the year, and Bryce and I take a little trip. This summer we went to Bora Bora and let me tell you.. it was a tropical DREAM. The water was CLEAR and so freakin blue!!! I have never been on a vacation where a BOAT has to take you to the resort you are staying at.

The bungalows were seriously so cool. It’s just like out of a movie… literally… I’m actually pretty sure movies have been filmed there!! We stayed for four nights, and it was the perfect amount of time because anything longer than that, we start to miss the kids way too much!!

Food in Bora Bora

At the resort we stayed at, there were four dinner spots: Asian, Italian, lagoon (over the water and fancier food like seafood and steak), and Polynesian buffet night with a show. The Italian restaurant was our favorite!! There was also one lunch spot, but you can also order by the pool, beach, or spa. They also had one breakfast spot.

To the Main Island

We took a 5 minute boat ride from the resort to the main island, and then a 25 minute bus ride into town for lunch. We had pizza and greek salad from Aloe Cafe and it was SO good. We were able to explore the town and grab some souvenirs for the kids of course.

It is so important to spend time with just your spouse, with kids you have such little alone time, don't stop dating and just MAKE TIME even if it’s just for dinner. I am so thankful that we can make memories with the kids, but also when just the two of us going on a vacation and spend quality time.
